NegaMAME v0.281.1 has been released, featuring NNegatron, a user-friendly front-end for MAME. Initially launched in 2015, it was the first to fully unlock MAME’s machine configuration capabilities. After MAME’s changes in May 2017 restricted access to vital data for third-party front-ends, Negatron partnered with NegaMAME in June 2018. This new derivative mimics official MAME while reintroducing a command that allows third-party front-ends to access previously lost information. As a result, Negatron can once again utilize all its original features. Download: NegaMAME v0.281.1.
NegaMAME v0.281.1 has been released. NNegatron is a front-end specifically designed for MAME, focusing on user-friendliness and simplicity. When it first launched in November 2015, it was the inaugural front-end to fully exploit the configuration options available in MAME. While other front-ends have since emerged, MAME’s alteration in May 2017 (starting with v0.186) restricted access to key data for third-party front-ends. In June 2018, Negatron further demonstrated its capabilities by collaborating with a new MAME variant called NegaMAME. NegaMAME functions just like the official MAME, while incorporating a command that allows third-party front-ends to recover the data lost since v0.186, thereby enabling Negatron to restore all the functionalities it possessed in 2015.
