NegaMAME v0.282.1 has been released, enhancing the front-end NNegatron for MAME users. Originally launched in November 2015, NNegatron was the first front-end to fully exploit MAME’s machine configurations. Following MAME’s changes in May 2017, some data became inaccessible for front-ends. However, in June 2018, Negatron leveraged the new NegaMAME derivative, which mirrors official MAME but includes additional commands to restore lost information. This update allows Negatron to regain access to all previously available features. Download NegaMAME v0.282.1 for improved functionality.

NegaMAME v0.282.1 has been released. NNegatron is a front-end designed specifically for MAME, crafted to simplify the user experience and enhance intuitiveness. Since its debut in November 2015, it was the first front-end to completely unlock the potential configurations available in MAME. Although some other front-ends have caught up, when MAME modified how it provided information to third-party front-ends in May 2017 with v0.186, it also restricted access to critical data. In June 2018, Negatron showcased its capabilities once more by collaborating with a new MAME derivative known as NegaMAME. NegaMAME operates just like the official version of MAME, but it introduces a command that allows third-party front-ends to recover the information that has been inaccessible since v0.186, thus enabling Negatron to restore full access to the features it had back in 2015.
