NooDS Git Release (November 13, 2025)

NooDS Git (2025/11/13) is a new and fast emulator for the Nintendo DS, available on Linux, macOS, Windows, and Nintendo Switch. Users must install wxWidgets on Linux/macOS or the latest Visual C++ runtime on Windows to use it. The emulator requires BIOS files “bios7.bin” and “bios9.bin,” along with “firmware.bin,” placed in the same directory as the executable for game functionality. On the Switch, a ROM file named “rom.nds” is also necessary due to the lack of a file browser. Recent updates include porting ARM ALU and build fixes from 3Beans.

NooDS Git (2025/11/13) has been compiled. This is a (hopefully!) fast NDS emulator. NooDS is compatible with Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are available; to use them, you must install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. Note that NooDS currently does not support high-level emulation of the BIOS. To run games, you’ll need BIOS files called “bios7.bin” and “bios9.bin”, along with a firmware file named “firmware.bin”, all located in the same directory as the executable. For the Switch, you’ll also require a ROM file named “rom.nds” in that directory, as there is no file browser available yet.

NooDS Git Changelog:
* Integrated ARM ALU and build fixes from 3Beans
