Though the development is ongoing, the primary objectives include: updating the codebase to contemporary standards, eliminating the plugin system for a unified codebase managing all facets of Playstation emulation, developing everything using SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for enhanced portability and readability, and enhancing both the debugging and rendering experiences.
