Project64 Git (2025/12/12) has been released. Project 64 is a commercial Nintendo 64 emulator designed for Windows. It features a plug-in architecture that enables third-party developers to create their own implementations of specific components. With Project64, users can play Nintendo 64 games on their computers by loading ROM images, which can be extracted from physical Nintendo 64 cartridges or generated as homebrew directly on the PC. Project64 began as an experiment by Jabo and zilmar to test their ability to write a Nintendo 64 emulator. It is now open source.
