Project64 Git (2026/01/10) has been compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary emulator for Nintendo 64 on Windows. It features a plug-in architecture that permits third-party developers to create their own implementations of specific components. Project64 enables users to enjoy Nintendo 64 games on their computers by reading ROM images, either extracted from the memory of an actual Nintendo 64 cartridge or crafted as homebrew directly on the computer. The project was initiated by Jabo and zilmar to test their ability to develop a Nintendo 64 emulator. It is now open source.
