Empire Software
Empire Software began in the United Kingdom in 1987, co-founded by Simon Jeffrey and Ian Higgins. Operating from London-area addresses through the late 1980s and early 1990s, the company published and sometimes developed a broad slate of home-computer titles under the Empire Software name before the business later used the Empire Interactive identity. Its releases ranged from licensed football games such as Gazza’s Super Soccer and Gazza II to strategy and war titles; packaging from the period lists Empire Software on UK Amiga, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum and DOS releases. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Amiga, DOS, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Arcade, Game Boy, SNES, and Apple II.
