ROM Properties v2.7 has been released. This shell extension enhances file managers by displaying additional information. ROM Properties is available for both Linux and Windows. It brings several useful features for managing video game ROMs and disc images in file browsers.

For Windows 7 and newer, download SetupRomProperties-2.7.exe. (Inno Setup 6.6.0; supports i386, amd64, and arm64)
For Windows XP, 2003, and Vista, download SetupRomPropertiesXP-2.7.exe. (Inno Setup 5.6.1; supports i386 and amd64)
Ubuntu packages are available through an Ubuntu PPA for the following releases:

Ubuntu 18.04 “Bionic” Beaver
Ubuntu 20.04 “Focal” Fossa

To add the PPA and install rom-properties, execute the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gerbilsoft/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rom-properties-all
This will install all rom-properties frontends and executables. Individual frontends can be installed by selecting the relevant rom-properties-* package.
