It is currently available for both Linux and Windows platforms. This extension enhances file browsers by providing useful features for managing video game ROMs and disc images.

The Windows installation is now bundled with Inno Setup.
For Windows 7 and newer, use SetupRomProperties-2.7.exe. (Inno Setup 6.6.0; supports i386, amd64, and arm64)
For Windows XP, 2003, and Vista, use SetupRomPropertiesXP-2.7.exe. (Inno Setup 5.6.1; supports i386 and amd64)
Ubuntu packages can be obtained from an Ubuntu PPA for the following releases:

To add the PPA and install rom-properties, execute these commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gerbilsoft/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rom-properties-all
This will install all frontends and executables for rom-properties. Specific frontends can be installed by using the appropriate rom-properties-* package.
