RPCS3 Git Update (December 20, 2025)

RPCS3 Git (2025/12/20) is an open-source PlayStation 3 emulator for Windows and Linux, developed since 2011. It supports DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL renderers, allowing it to boot and play numerous commercial games and SDK samples. Ongoing contributions are expanding its game compatibility. Recent updates include enhancements to the build process, such as incorporating 3rd party components and improving LLVM APIs. Additionally, the emulator now offers better logging for specific requests. The latest version can be downloaded for x64 systems.

rpcs3 Git (2025/12/20) has been compiled. RPCS3 is a free and open-source emulator and debugger for the Sony PlayStation 3, developed in C++ for Windows and Linux. Since its inception in early 2011, it has evolved to support modern rendering technologies like DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL. The emulator can successfully boot and play a considerable number of commercial games as well as PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Ongoing development efforts from contributors continue to increase the number of playable titles.
