Since its inception in early 2011, it has evolved to support modern rendering technologies like DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL. The emulator can successfully boot and play a considerable number of commercial games as well as PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Ongoing development efforts from contributors continue to increase the number of playable titles.
