RPCS3 Git (2026/03/29) is an open-source emulator and debugger for the PlayStation 3, developed since 2011 for Windows and Linux. It supports DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL rendering, enabling users to boot and play a substantial number of commercial games and SDK samples. Recent changes include memory reclamation during resolution scale changes, fixes for optimization checks and transfer region calculations, enhancements to the home menu’s resolution scale options, and dynamic resolution scaling. Continued development aims to increase game compatibility. The latest version is available for download.
