Since its inception in early 2011, the emulator has evolved significantly and now supports modern graphics APIs including DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL. It is capable of booting and playing a substantial range of commercial titles, as well as PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Additionally, more games are becoming playable thanks to ongoing contributions from developers.
