ShadPs4Plus PKG Extractor v1.1 has been released, fixing a corruption issue from version 1.0 regarding extraction of PKG files larger than 2GB. This standalone tool consists of two main components: a command line pkg_extractor exe/AppImage for extracting files, and an install_pkg script that needs configuration for directories. Users can drag and drop PKG files onto the exe or bat files for easier extraction. The tool is based on previous ShadPS4 code. For installation, users must set the paths for gamesDir and addonsDir. Download options are available.

The tool consists of two main components:
pkg_extractor exe / AppImage
This is the primary extractor, functioning as a command-line tool. The first argument should be the path to the pkg file, while the second argument specifies the extraction location. If no second argument is given, the extraction will occur next to the pkg file.
On Windows, you can simply drag and drop the pkg file onto the exe for extraction at the same location.
install_pkg sh / bat
This script must be configured prior to use. Adjust the values for gamesDir and addonsDir to align with those used in ShadPS4 (check in settings > paths).
The first argument is the path to the pkg file to be extracted.
On Windows, dragging and dropping the pkg file onto the bat file will initiate extraction in the desired location.
