Three Beans (December 5, 2025)

3Beans, released on December 5, 2025, emulates the 3DS at a low level, allowing it to run the entire OS and play cartridge-based games. Currently, it’s fully interpreted and software-rendered, making it portable but slow, with numerous issues. The changelog includes optimizations like caching opcode lists for TEVs and adding support for GPU writes with partial RGBA masks. Potential future enhancements may introduce hardware acceleration or high-level features to improve performance. Download 3Beans (2025/12/05) for the latest version.

3Beans (2025/12/05) has been launched. 3Beans emulates the 3DS at a fundamental level, functioning as if it were operating on actual hardware. It can access the home menu and run cartridge-based games; however, it is still in its early stages and comes with several bugs. Currently, it is entirely interpreted and software-rendered, making it portable but somewhat slow. If the project progresses, I may look into adding hardware acceleration or high-level functionalities to improve performance.

3Beans Changelog:
* Enhance TEVs by using an opcode list cache
* Provide GPU write support with partial RGBA masks
