Ymir Git (April 8, 2026) is a developing Sega Saturn emulator. Key features include support for various game file formats (e.g., BIN+CUE, ISO), automatic IPL ROM detection, and region switching. It allows up to two players with customizable keybindings, and includes backup RAM, integrated memory management for saves, save states, and rewinding capabilities. Load games from BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS, or ISO formats
Automatic IPL (BIOS) ROM detection
Automatic region adjustment
Support for two players using standard Control Pads on both ports (with more features to come)
Fully customizable key mappings
Backup RAM and DRAM cartridge support (more features coming soon)
Built-in backup memory manager for importing and exporting saves, as well as transferring between internal and cartridge RAM
Save states available
Rewind functionality (up to one minute at 60 fps), turbo speed, and frame stepping (forward and backward)
A feature-rich debugger currently in development
