Ymir Git (2026/03/09) is a new Sega Saturn emulator still in development. Key features include loading games from various file formats (BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS, ISO), automatic BIOS detection, and region switching. It supports two players with customizable keybindings, RAM cartridge support, and an integrated memory manager for save transfers. The emulator also offers advanced functionality like save states, rewinding, turbo speed, and a frame step feature. Updates in this version include improvements to VRAM access and documentation cleanup. The emulator continues to progress towards a fully functional release. Supports up to two players with standard Control Pads on both ports (more enhancements on the way)

Built-in memory manager for importing and exporting saves, transferring between internal and cartridge RAM
Save states functionality
Rewinding capability (up to one minute at 60 fps), turbo speed, frame stepping (forwards and backwards)
A feature-rich debugger currently in development
