Ares Git (2026/01/27) is a multi-system emulator that focuses on accuracy and preservation, stemming from higan and bsnes development since October 14, 2004. It currently emulates 27 hardware devices, including Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo 64 (in development), Game Boy, and many more. Recent updates in the changelog include the addition of a version string to help messages, an option to print the version, and improved interface adjustments. Ares aims to provide high-fidelity emulation for multiple classic gaming systems. Download is available for the x64 version.
