Ares Git (2026/01/08) is a multi-system emulator, initiated on October 14, 2004, focusing on accuracy and preservation. It is a descendant of higan and bsnes and currently emulates 27 devices, including Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo 64 (in development), Game Boy series, Mega Drive, and Neo Geo Pocket. Recent updates include minor format fixes and improvements in symlink handling for ROM loading. The latest version can be downloaded for x64 systems.
