Malibu Interactive
Malibu Interactive was the game development arm of Malibu Comics, formed when Bob Jacob’s Acme Interactive joined the Malibu Graphics Publishing Group. Its early-1990s work ranged from comic and movie adaptations, including Ex-Mutants, Batman Returns and Cliffhanger, to sports games and BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat. The studio closed in 1994, the year Marvel acquired its parent company; former Malibu developers Joel Jewett, Mick West and Chris Ward went on to establish Neversoft. The games listed below include releases for Game Boy, Game Gear, Genesis, SEGA CD, and SNES.
