melonDS Git (2025/09/14) is an open-source emulator for Nintendo DS, representing the second wave of DS emulator projects. It features a nearly complete core with JIT recompilation for fast performance, OpenGL rendering with 3D upscaling, support for RTC and various input methods like joystick, and savestates. Other capabilities include multiple display options and ongoing work on Wifi for local multiplayer, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons.
