LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC
Founded in May 1982 as Lucasfilm Games (the interactive arm of George Lucas’s Lucasfilm), the company later operated under the LucasArts and LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC names. Based in the San Rafael / Lucasfilm area of California, early staff included Peter Langston, David Fox and Gary Winnick. Across the 1980s and 1990s it developed and published arcade and adventure work such as Ballblazer and Rescue on Fractalus!, the Monkey Island and Indiana Jones adventure entries, and space-combat series including X-Wing and several Star Wars tie-ins. Its corporate identity shifted names over time rather than representing an unrelated company branch. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, DOS, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Dreamcast, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 2.
