Philips do Brasil Ltda.

Philips do Brasil Ltda. was the Brazilian subsidiary that handled local releases of the Philips Videopac / Magnavox Odyssey² line in the early 1980s. Active chiefly between about 1982 and 1985, it operated from Brazil and ran a public launch for the Odyssey in São Paulo in April 1982; commercial representatives at the event included Garibaldo Muolo and Franco Consoni. Locally produced cartridges and packaging list the company as publisher on many Odyssey/Videopac titles distributed in Brazil, including Neutron Star, The Mousing Cat and Morse. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Odyssey 2, Arcade, Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit, Intellivision, Atari 5200, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, VIC-20, and Game Boy.
