Team17 Software Limited
Team17 Software Limited began in the early 1990s in Wakefield, England, emerging from the Amiga-era 17-Bit Software/Team 7 collaboration and operating under the Team17 name from 1991. The Wakefield-based group included Martyn Brown among its early personnel and built a mixed development/publishing business. During the 1990s it released and handled prominent Amiga and PC-era action and shooter titles such as Alien Breed and Project-X and later became synonymous with the Worms franchise. Legal and corporate filings now show Team17 as a family of related UK companies, with Team17 Software Limited used as a corporate entity in later reports. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Amiga, DOS, Amiga CD32, Windows, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Genesis, Jaguar, PlayStation, and PlayStation 3.
