Golden Axe III

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL GAME

Golden Axe III plunges you back into pulse-pounding hack ’n’ slash action as the vile Damud Hellbringer, the self-styled “Prince of Darkness,” absconds with the legendary Golden Axe and casts a curse over every warrior in the realm. Only one hero has broken free of his dark magic, and it’s up to you to charge through twisted forests, icy caverns, and fiery keep strongholds, lift the curse from fallen allies, vanquish Hellbringer’s minions, and restore peace by reclaiming the Golden Axe itself.
As you battle across branching pathways and face ever-greater hordes, choose from four mighty champions, barbarian Kain Grinder, amazon Sahra Burn, panther warrior Chronos Raid, or giant Proud Cragger, each wielding powerful magic fueled by gnome-kicking potion pickups. Under the guidance of the stalwart dwarf Gilius Thunderhead, master new moves like blocks, sweeps, grapples, and cooperative team attacks to unleash devastating combos. With enhanced mechanics, unique spells, and classic Golden Axe flair, this adventure delivers nonstop thrills and replay value for every action-game fanatic.
