About this project

This is a translation of Magic John, the Japanese version of Totally Rad.
Those who have played Totally Rad may remember Jaleco rewrote the script to sound "cooler", resulting in a script that was almost instantly hilariously outdated.
...although Shih Tzu does commend them for at least turning it into SOMETHING memorable, as the Japanese script was kinda bland.

I have inserted Shih Tzu's re-translation from The Rad Project into the Magic John ROM.
Note that the patch should be applied to the Magic John ROM.

So, with his permission, I just put his translation back into the Magic John ROM.

PATCHING INSTRUCTIONS
*********************
Either apply the IPS version of the patch to a Magic John ROM,
or use a program such as upset (from byuu.org) to apply the UPS version.
Do not apply the translation to a Totally Rad ROM. I haven't tried it, but I think the patch will just break it.

EMULATION ISSUES
****************
This game uses mapper 18. Most recent emulators should support it.
