Since its inception in early 2011, the emulator has evolved to support modern rendering technologies such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL. It can run a significant portion of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples, with many more titles becoming playable thanks to ongoing contributions.
