StarPSX v0.5.2 has been released as a free, open-source PlayStation 1 emulator written in Rust. Currently in progress, it is not yet ready for playing games. Key updates include changing the logging directory, removing over 100 dependencies, and switching to a glow egui backend for better compatibility with older GPUs. StarPSX Changelog:
the logging directory has been changed to the OS local data directory
eliminated over 100 dependencies by adjusting crate features
migrated to a glow egui backend instead of wgpu, which should enhance compatibility with older GPUs. If you encounter any issues, please file a report.
