What are your fave technological advancements? Or, what would you like to see in the future?

I love the current era we live in, we have these little quality of life improvements such as handheld consoles getting backlights, USB cables instead of bulky chargers, the ability to play on the go thanks to powerbanks and accessibility to more games thanks to the digital stores

Since both the NDS and 3DS are older consoles, part of my pain back then was the difficulty in getting replacement chargers if ever one of em gave out. So finding out that said chargers are now more accessible and that they had USB cable counterparts made me really happy!

As for the future, would love to see a multigenerational backwards compatibility but that’s just a dream due to the cost + ongoing trend of phasing out of physical media

Another one I would like to see one day would be a true successor to the PSP/PSVita!

Or or, Nintendo going back to the innovation of touch commands. The NDS was such a cool console as plenty of devs utilized the touch and stylus fuction! It’s sad that the Switch barely made use of it. Sadly, I do understand that making different release versions across all consoles would take up more resources for devs
