Ymir Git (2026/03/18) is a developing Sega Saturn emulator with various features, including support for multiple file formats (BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS, ISO), automatic IPL ROM detection, and region switching. It supports up to two players with customizable keybindings, backup RAM, and an integrated memory manager for saves. Additional functionalities include save states, rewinding, turbo speed, and frame stepping. The latest changelog notes updates to contributor lists, code refactoring for readability, and fixes for D-pad input issues. The emulator continues to evolve with promising features still in the works.

Supports loading games from BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS, or ISO files
Automatic detection of IPL (BIOS) ROM
Automatic region detection
Support for up to two players using standard control pads on both ports (with more features to come)
Fully customizable key bindings
Support for backup RAM and DRAM cartridges (additional features coming soon)
Integrated memory management for importing and exporting saves, as well as transferring between internal and cartridge RAM
Save states functionality
Rewind feature (up to one minute at 60 fps), turbo speed, and frame stepping (both forward and backward)
An evolving, feature-rich debugger
