clrmame version 0.7.2

clrmame v0.7.2 has been released, enhancing MAME machine set management. Key updates include a switch to Visual Studio 2026, improvements in standalone mode to only address necessary dependency ROMs, and adjustments in nonmerge mode to auto-add only devices and BIOS machines. Additionally, bit7z and pugixml have been updated, and the tool now accurately skips incorrectly identified rar5 files. clrmame v0.7.2 has been released. This handy tool is designed to scan and rebuild MAME (https://www.mamedev.org/) machine sets.

– updated to Visual Studio 2026
– enhancements: standalone mode now only grabs necessary dependency ROMs instead of all
– improvements: nonmerge mode now auto-adds only devices and bios machines when resolving filters
– updates: bit7z now at 4.1.0, with the 7z sdk/dll (26.02) also updated; major improvements mean my own fork is no longer necessary
– updated pugixml to version 1.16
– fixed: rar5 files can be omitted since they were incorrectly marked as “not first volume”
UI:
– fixed: reset thread count to auto (instead of using 1) when switching to a new system with a different hardware thread count
