Cxbx Reloaded (2026/04/14) is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox and future Chihiro games on Windows, originating as a 64-bit extension of Cxbx. Currently unstable, it aims to improve performance through backporting Dxbx advancements. Recent changelog updates include enhanced HLSL pixel shader support, small performance tweaks, and fixes for build issues. Additionally, it addresses host texture format checks and updates the NV2A LLE color format map. Work in progress includes implementing Xbox-specific texture state extensions in HLSL. Cxbx Reloaded (2026/04/14) has been released. Cxbx-Reloaded serves as an emulator that allows users to play Microsoft Xbox (and eventually Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. This project originated as a fork of Cxbx, incorporating added 64-bit support. Efforts are currently in progress to backport enhancements from Dxbx. Note that Cxbx-Reloaded is still quite unstable, so running games may not be reliable at this stage.

* In CxbxCalcColorSign, adjusted the signed-ness checks for host texture format components to be interdependent, also applying a fix that benefits the BumpMap samples (noted by medievil)
