Deecy v0.6.2, an experimental Dreamcast emulator written in Zig, has been released. Key features include a rewind function that allows users to revert to previous game states, configurable through the new General settings tab. Users can also set their preferred shortcuts for rewind actions. The update introduces a controller-navigable game launcher, enabling game starts via the DC controller, with the option to open at startup. Additionally, it offers microphone support by adding a microphone to the emulated controller’s expansion slot and MSAA x4 support for improved graphics. New Features
Rewind functionality.
It regularly captures snapshots of the DC state, enabling you to revert to a previous state whenever desired.
This feature is off by default; activate it in the new General settings tab. From there, you can also adjust the snapshot interval and the maximum number of saved snapshots (Note: More snapshots will lead to increased memory usage).
For optimal experience, it’s recommended to map your favorite shortcuts to the rewind functions (Previous/Next/Confirm/Cancel).
Controller-Navigable Game Launcher.
Launch games from your collection using only your configured DC controller. You can set this launcher to open automatically at startup through the General settings tab.
Microphone support.
Activate microphone input by adding one to an expansion slot of your emulated controller.
MSAA x4 support for opaque pass.
