Light or Dark? Who did you main?

So I’m still in my quest of hunting down FF mainline + related spinoff games, this time we have this immensely fun crossover fighting game!

I have a lot of fond memories for the Dissidia. I used to spend hours upon hours in empty classrooms back in college just playing Dissidia or Gundam VS Gundam with my mates.

Me and my siblings also took turns with the limited number of PSPs we had just to duke it out with each other. One of em absolutely destroying me everytime with Emperor ☠️

Another stand out memory was me getting stupidly spoiled for FFIV because of course there’s gonna be spoilers 🤦‍♀️ Now that I’m almost done with the mainline FFs, it would be cool to revisit the story!

It was also thanks to this game that I discovered banger tracks for the various FF titles. I also absolutely loved the track ‘Chaos’!

By the time Dissidia: Duodecim came out, I was burnt out with the thought of grinding again just to get the drops to craft Cloud’s Ultima Weapon. So I only gave it a try despite being happy that both Tifa and Yuna were playable. Will give it a try again someday!

I’m rather sad at how Dissidia NT turned out, but I can’t complain much since we finally got to see Rinoa voiced + in HD 🤸‍♀️
