DOSBox-X Git (August 8, 2026)

DOSBox-X Git (2026/08/08) is a compiled version of DOSBox, which emulates an Intel x86 PC, enabling the execution of old MS-DOS games that modern systems can’t run. Recent updates include corrections in the OSFREE installation claims and a BIOS setup menu logic change, preventing system reboot when no changes are made. The terminology “Total Memory” under “Video Memory” is updated to “System Memory” for clarity, and the BIOS logo is removed if the DEL key is pressed to access BIOS setup.
