This emulator replicates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, and more, which are essential for executing numerous classic MS-DOS games that cannot run on contemporary PCs and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, and FreeBSD.

* BOOT: Saved the SS:SP values in a variable, instructing sdlmain.cpp to set them during guest OS booting. For IBM PC booter games, configured SS:SP = 0x30:0x100 instead of 0x30:0x80. The lower value caused Shamus to crash and was based on a misunderstanding of the IBM PC BIOS source code.
