Luna’s Project64 Version 3.7.3

Luna’s Project64 v3.7.3 is a fork of Project64 3.0.1, designed for Linux and Windows, focusing on enhancing gameplay functionality rather than accuracy. Key updates include the removal of nagware, quicker savestate loading, and additional savestate slots (totaling 100). It now prompts for updates, modifies keyboard shortcuts for speed adjustment, and fixes a bug that caused EEPROM corruption. The emulator features purple icons for a fun touch, and has improvements to memory allocation. Notably, RA Hardcore exploit fixes and compatibility with Star Display are included. Download is available for this updated version.

Luna’s Project64 v3.7.3 has been released. This version is a fork of Project64 3.0.1, created to provide a Linux-compatible alternative to version 2.4 (and yes, it works on Windows too). It prioritizes functionality over accuracy and compatibility, enhancing the gameplay experience for a specific selection of games. Therefore, it eliminates the nagware screen and includes the necessary plugins to ensure smooth gameplay.

Changes from the original:
The emulator now prompts you to update when a new version is available.
There are additional savestate slots, totaling 100. You can modify these in the hotkeys tab of the settings window or easily access them via the system menu.
Loading savestates has become faster, and frequent loading while screensharing on Discord will no longer crash the game.
The keyboard shortcuts to increase and decrease the game’s speed have been updated to Ctrl + and Ctrl -, as the original shortcuts were cumbersome.
The issue causing the EEPROM to display corrupted data (e.g., 182 stars in every file) upon first access of certain hacks has been fixed.
The Project64 icons have been changed to purple, just a fun little touch. ^-^
And a few more tweaks!

Luna’s Project64 changelog:
Fixed RA Hardcore exploit that allowed Star Display to alter star counts.
Improved memory decommit logic to resolve rare instances where the emulator was unable to allocate RAM after a restart.
Luna PJ64 v3.7.3 is mandatory for RA Hardcore; the combination of Star Display and Luna is now permitted.
