melonDS Git (2026/05/12) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulators. Notable features include a nearly complete core for CPU, video, and audio, a JIT recompiler for fast emulation, and an OpenGL renderer with 3D upscaling. Additional functionalities include RTC, microphone support, joystick compatibility, savestates, and various display options. Work is in progress for local multiplayer, online connectivity, DSi emulation, and GBA slot add-ons. The latest changelog addresses issue #2657. The emulator can be downloaded in x64 format.
