melonDS Git (2026/05/27) is an open-source Nintendo DS emulator, part of a new wave of DS emulators. It features a nearly complete core with a JIT recompiler for fast emulation, OpenGL rendering, RT capabilities, and joystick support, among others. Notable features include savestates, various display modes, and ongoing work for Wi-Fi multiplayer and DSi emulation. Recent updates have improved termination signal handling on UNIX and fixed a game title visibility issue in dark themes.
