PopCap Games, Inc.

PopCap Games, Inc. began in Seattle in 2000 when designers John Vechey, Brian Fiete and Jason Kapalka left other projects to build small, broadly accessible games. The studio became known for casual hits such as Bejeweled, Zuma, Peggle and Bookworm and for multiple “Deluxe” and downloadable releases across PC, web and mobile platforms. PopCap operated expansion offices through the 2000s and was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2011. Key people and credited franchises above are those consistently attributed to the Seattle-founded PopCap Games, Inc. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Nintendo DS, Xbox, Nintendo DSi, PlayStation 2, PSP, and Arcade.
