RPCS3 Git Update (June 8, 2026)

RPCS3 Git (2026/06/08) is an open-source emulator for PlayStation 3, developed in C++ for Windows and Linux since 2011. It supports modern graphics APIs like DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL, allowing many commercial games and SDK samples to be booted and played. Recent updates include improvements in PPU/SPU priority, audio event queue fixes, and enhancements to RSX handling and caching. Continued contributions are increasing the number of playable titles. The latest version can be downloaded for x64 systems.

rpcs3 Git (2026/06/08) has been compiled. RPCS3 is a free, open-source emulator and debugger for the Sony PlayStation 3, developed in C++ for both Windows and Linux platforms. Development began in early 2011, and the emulator now supports modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL. It can boot and effectively play a significant number of commercial games along with PlayStation 3 SDK samples. With ongoing contributions, even more titles are becoming accessible for gameplay.

* cellAudio: Address _mxr000 event queue hack
* rsx: Manage mipmap sampling edge cases during SNORM emulation
* RSX: Implement one-shot cacheline wait for semaphore acquisition
* RSX: Add hardware spin_wait helper and employ it in flush requests
* cellAudio: Correct _mxr000 surmixer event-queue key constant
