Sega Model 3 User Interface (June 25, 2026)

The Sega Model 3 UI was released on June 25, 2026, enhancing the Supermodel arcade emulator. Key features include a customizable borderless display, selectable resolution, and a functional CrossHairStyle option. Notably, it introduces unmuted audio playback for game previews and a video playback toggle for instant switching between video and static images. The update also removes the deprecated streaming receiver feature and significantly expands YouTube video mappings for various game titles. Additionally, an ini writing button was added, along with a step display for the game list. Users can now set PowerPC frequency to auto.

Sega Model 3 UI (2026/06/25) has been released. This is a user-friendly UI for the Supermodel. Supermodel serves as a Sega Model 3 arcade emulator.

New Features:
Borderless display can now be configured.
A prompt will appear to determine the display position.
Please click the three-dot button.
Resolution selection is now limited to a drop-down menu. Need a fix?
CrossHairStyle selection is now available.
RefreshRate is fixed at 57.5246. Need a fix?
PowerPC frequency can now be set to 0.
0 represents Auto
A ‘Write ini’ button has been added.
The ini file will also be updated when you click ‘LoadRom’
A ‘Step’ indicator has been added to the Gamelist
The font is set to the default “Arial” due to unavailability of the preferred option.

Sega Model 3 UI Changelog:
This update brings audio playback for game previews, an option to toggle preview mode on-the-fly, and a greatly enhanced YouTube game video mapping library. The deprecated streaming receiver feature has been removed.
🚀 Key Features & Changes
1. Unmuted Preview Audio
Default mute settings have been removed from both the YouTube IFrame API wrapper and the local video player.
Game audio and music will now automatically play during title previews.
2. “Video Playback” Toggle CheckBox
A [Video Playback] toggle checkbox has been added just above the preview pane.
Checked (ON): Enables video previews (YouTube / Local MP4).
Unchecked (OFF): Displays standard static images (JPG).
This allows for quick switching between video and static views.
3. Streaming Receiver Feature Removed
The streaming receiver feature has been eliminated.
4. Enhanced YouTube Video Mappings
New and updated video mappings (primarily high-quality Shorts) have been added for the following ROMs/games to automatically display the correct gameplay upon selection:
