The project aims for an authentic console feel while welcoming testers to report issues. Note that it’s an unsigned project, possibly blocked by Windows security features. Please refrain from attaching ROM files to bug reports.
📦 Installation Instructions
Download the ZIP file from this release.
Extract the entire folder.
Place your legally obtained SNES ROM files in the roms folder.
You may create subfolders within roms for better organization.
Execute SNES-Station-PC.exe.
ROMs are not bundled with this project.
⚠️ Windows Smart App Control Alert
Please note that SNES Station PC is currently an unsigned independent project.
As we lack a commercial code-signing certificate, Windows Smart App Control may prevent the executable from running on systems with strict application control settings.
We have explored commercial code-signing options, but the expenses are currently prohibitive for a small, free, non-commercial initiative.
We advise against disabling Windows security features specifically to run SNES Station PC.
In the future, we hope to offer digitally signed builds if a feasible signing option becomes available.
