It enables you to play most games created for the SNES and Super Famicom on your PC or workstation, including some classics that were exclusive to Japan. The development of Snes9x spans over three years of part-time coding, debugging, and other programming challenges (just joking about the last part). Snes9x is programmed in C++, featuring three assembler CPU emulation cores for its i386 Linux and Windows versions.
