Ymir Git (2026/07/31) is a newly released Sega Saturn emulator still in development. It supports loading games from several file formats (BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS, ISO) and features automatic IPL ROM detection and region switching. The emulator allows for two players with customizable control pads, backup RAM functionality, and an integrated memory manager for save transfers. Additional features include save states, rewind functionality (up to one minute at 60 fps), turbo speed, frame stepping, and a developing debugger. The latest update also improves the VDP1 MSB write behavior and fixes MSB shadow offsets in 16-bit mode.
