Ares Git (2026/04/24) is a multi-system emulator focused on accuracy and preservation, tracing its roots to higan and bsnes. It currently emulates 27 hardware devices, including various Nintendo consoles, Sega systems, and others. Recent updates include enhancements for the Nintendo 64’s RSP JIT, like new opcodes, JIT tracing support, and adjustments to handle constant addresses.
