Ares Git Release (May 7, 2026)

Ares Git (2026/05/07) is a multi-system emulator developed since October 14, 2004, and is a descendant of higan and bsnes, prioritizing accuracy and preservation. It currently emulates 27 hardware devices, including Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo 64 (in development), Game Boy, Master System, Mega Drive, PC Engine, MSX, ColecoVision, Neo Geo Pocket, and WonderSwan. The latest changelog includes the removal of “eat stdin” behavior on exit. The emulator is available for download in x64 format.
