Game of Thrones: Dog Pack

Dog Pack is a tiny cosmetic add-on for Game of Thrones, swapping Mors’ dog into either the God’s Eye Mastiff or Dornish Hound. It changes no abilities, combat behavior, or progression.

If you already like having Mors’ companion alongside you and want a different look, the two breeds are a harmless bit of personalization. Everyone else can skip it without losing anything from the main game.

Gameplay

Dog Pack does not alter how Game of Thrones plays. Mors’ dog retains the same gameplay role, with no new abilities, balance changes, combat options, or progression attached to either skin.

That makes this a straightforward wardrobe purchase rather than meaningful downloadable content. You select between the God’s Eye Mastiff and the Dornish Hound because you prefer the look, not because one gives you an advantage or opens a new way to play.

There is at least no ambiguity about what you are getting. If cosmetic companion customization matters to you, two alternate dog appearances may be enough. If you were hoping for extra missions, systems, or a practical reason to revisit the game, this pack has no payoff on that front.

Graphics

The entire package is centered on two visible replacements for Mors’ dog: the God’s Eye Mastiff and the Dornish Hound. Your choice changes the companion’s breed appearance while it accompanies Mors.

Story

There is no new story content here. Dog Pack does not add characters, quests, scenes, or lore; it simply changes how Mors’ canine companion looks during the existing game.

That narrow scope can actually be useful if you are replaying and want a small personal touch without disrupting the established adventure. It does not ask you to re-engage with the narrative in a different way.

For anyone drawn to Game of Thrones chiefly for more plot or world-building, this is an easy pass. The main game remains the place to go for that material.

Overall Experience

Dog Pack is exactly as slight as its premise: two cosmetic dog skins, nothing more. There is no hidden gameplay value behind the God’s Eye Mastiff or Dornish Hound, so satisfaction depends entirely on whether seeing a different breed at Mors’ side improves your time with the game.

That makes it difficult to recommend broadly, but not impossible to appreciate. A dedicated fan who notices companion aesthetics and has a clear favorite between these two looks can get a modest bit of enjoyment from it.

For most gamers, put your attention toward the base Game of Thrones instead. Pick up Dog Pack only if the cosmetic swap itself is the point; otherwise, skipping it costs you nothing.
