Accolade, Inc.

Founded in 1984 in San Jose by Alan Miller and Bob Whitehead, Accolade began as a U.S. game developer and publisher active through the 1980s and 1990s. The company released personal computer and console titles and is associated with franchises and releases such as the Test Drive and Hardball series and Bubsy, along with many single-title releases across platforms. In the early 1990s it pursued Sega Genesis compatibility through reverse-engineering, and in 1999 the Accolade entity became part of Infogrames’ North American operations. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as DOS, Windows, Genesis, Commodore 64, Amiga, SNES, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Apple II, and PlayStation.
