Capcom Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game developer and publisher founded from earlier businesses dating to May 30, 1979 and incorporated as Capcom in the early 1980s. Headquartered in Osaka, the company was built around arcade and console software and lists Kenzo Tsujimoto among its founders and long‑time executives; later leadership includes members of the Tsujimoto family.
