Visual Concepts Entertainment, Inc.

Visual Concepts Entertainment, Inc. is an American developer best known for modern console sports titles. Founded as a California studio and based in San Rafael during its early Sega years, it was led by president Gregory Thomas while producing the ESPN-branded 2K sports lineup (including ESPN NFL 2K5, ESPN NHL 2K5 and ESPN College Hoops/College Hoops 2K5) and the NBA 2K series. Sega acquired the studio before selling Visual Concepts and its Kush Games subsidiary to Take-Two Interactive in January 2005, after which Take-Two organized the developer under its 2K publishing labels. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation 2, Xbox, SNES, Xbox 360, Dreamcast, PlayStation 3, Genesis, Wii, Windows, and DOS.
