DracoDS v1.7 is now available, serving as an emulator for the Tandy Color Computer (CoCo 2) and Dragon 32 on DS/DSi/XL/LL devices. Both machines share similar hardware designed by Motorola, although differences exist in keyboard and disk handling. This release primarily emulates the CoCo 2, supporting 32K and 64K configurations and includes Dragon 32 compatibility. Key updates include an improved sound driver for enhanced audio accuracy in games like Demon Attack, fixes for varying speeds in NTSC emulation, joystick mapping adjustments, options for analog sensitivity, and volume boosts for quieter games.

DracoDS v1.7 has been released. DracoDS is an emulator for the Tandy Color Computer (CoCo 2) and Dragon 32 specifically designed for your DS/DSi/XL/LL handheld devices. The Dragon and Tandy machines share many similarities, both utilizing the same Motorola reference design. A closer inspection reveals that the Dragon effectively reverse-engineered some of the Tandy hardware, resulting in near-identical components (for instance, cartridge pinouts). While there are some variations, primarily in the keyboard matrix and disk controller handling, this emulator mainly functions as a Tandy CoCo 2 emulator, supporting both the standard 32K and expanded 64K memory configurations. It can also be set up to work with the Dragon 32.
